Sorry for using this long sentence as my headline and I know it is inappropriate to quote my own words. Anyhow, it should be an Olympics to the great Chinese people. That's why I put all my narration in an ordinary Chinese perspective. I support it, simply because I own so many personal connections to it, so does my family, my friends, and the populace of China.
Give my sincere acknowledgement to Jin Yan, the president of CSSA, who offers me this opportunity to talk with university media.
Personally I hope the report can obtain more publicity from general American people instead of the Cincinnati Chinese community. They are the people fresh to these ideas. Although I am a Chinese individual from such a diverse Chinese population, I am somehow a micro-China in others eyes as soon as I came out my country. I hope to show the image of Chinese in a way I have envisioned: healthy, optimistic, responsible, modest, rational and compassionate. Also I need to enrich my knowledge stocks of the western society, which are the main weapons to fight against the anti-China assertions. Their accusations show not only the scarcity of their knowledge about China, but also the ignorance of the complexity of their own society. For the vast ground of democracy and human rights, they are too early to build their fortresses and attack others.
Here is the screen print of the front page and the link, welcome to read and disseminate. Don's laugh at my photos, I am bad to be pictured…
